A copy of the granted patent is provided via this link.
Renewals
Annual renewal fees must be paid to maintain this patent. The next renewal fee must be paid by 12 April 2026. We will send you timely reminders of renewal deadlines as they approach. We recommend that you also diarise the renewal date.
Alternatively, under our optional automatic renewal arrangement, we send you just one reminder a few months in advance of the deadline and then pay the fee shortly before it is due, unless you instruct us to abandon the patent. This is preferred by a number of our clients as it simplifies the process, thus reducing the associated cost. If you would like us to enter this case on our automatic system, please let us have your instructions.
Marking
We recommend that articles made in accordance with the invention, their packaging or associated promotional material be marked to indicate they are covered by an Australian patent in order to improve the prospects of obtaining damages in an infringement action. We suggest wording such 'Australian patent' and recommend including the patent number where possible.
End of Engagement
Now that the Certificate of Grant has issued, we consider that we have completed all work within the scope of our engagement on this matter, although we still remain the address for service at the Australian patent office. Payment of renewal fees will be carried out according to the arrangements set out above.
